Physicians

Harry E. Capone, MD

Dr. Capone joined TriValley in 1999 after completing a family practice residency at ST Joseph's hospital in Syracuse. He went to undergraduate college at Gordon College and attended Suny Health Science Center graduating in 1996. He was originally board certified in family practice in 1999 and was recertified in 2006.

Thomas R. Cummings, MD

Dr. Cummings joined TriValley in 2010. He obtained a BA in Biology from SUNY Binghamton in 2003. He attended SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse receiving his medical degree in 2007. He completed a family practice residency at St Joseph's hospital in Syracuse. He became board certified in famil practice in 2011.

Deborah L. Meester, MD

Dr. Meester joined TriValley in 1998 after completing a family practice residency at St Joseph's hospital in Syracuse, where she was chief resident in her third year. She obtained her undergraduate degree in chemistry at Central College in Indiana. She received her medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse in 1995. She was board certified in 1998 and recertified in 2004.

Jeffrey M. Mulholland, MD

Dr. Mulholland joined TriValley in 2001. He attended Sienna College as an undergraduate. He obtained his medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center in 1998. He did his family practice residency at St Joseph's hospital in Syracuse. He was board certified in 2001 and recertified in 2008. He has been past chief of the family practice department and currently serves as president of the medical staff at Oneida HealthCare Center.

James E. Vanderhoof, MD

Dr. James Vanderhoof joined TriValley in 1995. He attended Lemoyne College as an undergraduate. He attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston graduating in 1988. He completed a family practice residency at Albany Medical College from 1989-1991. He has served as past president of the medical staff as well as past chief of the family practice department at Oneida Healthcare.

He was board certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1991 and recertified in 1998 and 2005.

Erin W. Thompson, MD

Dr. Thompson joined TriValley in 2012. She did her undergraduate work at SUNY Geneseo and attended medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical Center graduating in 2009. She completed a family practice residency at ST Joseph Hospital in Syracuse from 2009 through 2012.

Dr. Thompson achieved board certification by the American Board of Family Practice in 2013.

 
Kelly S. Weaver, MD

Dr. Weaver went to undergraduate school at SUNY Plattsburgh receiving a degree in cellular biochemistry. She attended medical school at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse graduating in 2006. She completed her family practice residency at St Joseph's hospital in Syracuse where she served as chief resident in 2008. She is board certified in family practice.

Dr. Weaver see patients at our Canastota office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

John Wight, MD

Dr. Wight established TriValley Practice in 1988. He is a graduate of SUNY at Geneseo and attended SUNY Upstate Medical Center graduating in 1981. He completed a residency in family practice at St Margaret Hospital in Pittsburgh from 1981-1984. He has served as president of the medical staff at Oneida HealthCare Center and currently serves as chief of family practice department. He is a board member of the CNY Independent Physician Association. He has also served as a volunteer faculty member for the Rural Medical Education program at Upstate Medical Center.

Dr. Wight was board certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1984, with recertification in 1990, 1996, 2003 and 2013.
